I hope all males go to their GP annually to have health checks as it seems prostate cancer is on the rise. I heard afew cases in the media but when it comes to hearing from family or friends, it is hard to deal with. Only last week I heard the forth relative on my father's side has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Luckily for him, he might be lucky to caught it early as he is coming to the capital city of Queensland to have surgery shortly. My Dad had it two years ago, surgerically removed and suffering the affects after surgery.
I wouldn't wish it on the worse enemy on having this cancer or any of others. Cancer is mean and hurtful to the patient as well as their love ones. Now I feel I should get involved with some foundation and learn more about it. And help the victim's family cope with the time of being ill, recovery or lost.
